Your PTO dollars at work!!

Who doesn’t love having their mid-afternoon snack taken care of? The PTO April staff appreciation treat was a quick grab granola bar, Crystal Light drink packet and reusable tumbler. We hope having this one thing checked off our amazing teachers list - sparked some joy!	From the smallest items, like q-tips (for blending!) and extra-moisturizing hand soap, to the big things, like a new rug for students and a Cricut for those extra-special artistic touches, everything purchased for the art room is going to enhance the learning experience for our pre-schoolers all the way up to fifth grade. I'm so grateful to the PTO for supporting our art program. Your little artists will benefit for years to come! Thank you so much PTO, from Mrs. Miner and the TCE artists	Did you know PTO gives the school $10,500 towards field study funding? Yep! Every single year. This not only keeps the cost of the field trip down but it also allows our teachers and administration to dream BIG and book amazing adventures for your students to enjoy! From local Dr Seuss plays to Kennedy Space Center. From Medieval Times to special opportunities of bringing Native American historians to the school for a unique in-school learning experience.
Mrs Smith put the S.T.E.A.M. Resource Funding towards BRICKS! No, not the ones made from clay or shale. We're talking LEGO bricks! 10,984 of them to be exact. Ask any TCE student, when it's LEGO rotation time - everyone is happy! Knock, knock. Who’s there? Ice cream. Ice cream who? Ice cream when I step on LEGO! Thank you so much PTO, from Mrs Smith and the TCE Builders	March Staff Appreciation was a special bag of sweet treats celebrating our amazing staff and their unmatched COMMITmint, ENCOURAGEmint, INVESTmint and INVOLVEmint at TCE. You guessed it, everything was mint flavored! Big thank you to one of our Gold PTO Business Partners, 422-Phil Auto Injury Attorney for sponsoring. Each bag had an assortment of minty gum, soft peppermints, York Peppermint Patties and a mint KitKat for the staff to enjoy.	Almost 200 books! The Media Center put their funding on the shelves and into the hands of our young readers. We would show you the stacks of books that arrived in multiple shipments but they were all immediately checked out and are currently inspiring a love of reading for the students at TCE. Thank you so much PTO, from Mrs Roberson and the TCE readers.😊
The TCE PTO provides an Eagle folder for all students for teacher/class/school communications!	IXL Learning The TCE PTO pays $10,000.00 towards this learning tool for all of the students at Timberlin Creek Elementary School!	It’s been said that the king of the Aztecs would drink 50 quarts of hot chocolate everyday. It was thick as mud and red. He would put chili pepper in instead of sugar. Get it? Hot chocolate? The PTO didn’t think that sounded as delightful as the creamy milk chocolate version so we went with the classic. We were thrilled to offer hot chocolate bombs for the entire staff!
Did you know that every year your TCE PTO gives each student a Character Counts T-shirt? This is an enormous help in keeping students organized by grade on field trips as well as another way to show off school spirit on Fridays. The process of ordering over 1200 shirts and making sure each student and teacher receives the correct size, color and grade is a vital piece of our PTO check list and we need HELP next year! Are you organized? Is this something you would be willing to take on? This	The Staff Lounge Make over was so fun! -2019	PTO funded ukulele's for the music program! -2018
PTO ($162.00) and TCES funded solid roof structure for the P.E. department to be able to continue to have class outside even in the rain! An exciting LARGE project! -2020	The TCE PTO provides a car tag to the parent pick up families!	The TCE PTO knows that our staff at TCES gives everything they have to our students! So to help them for the month of September, we provided School Survival kits with everything they need to be ready to be there for our kids!

PTO Needs Your Talent!

We are already looking ahead to next school year and have found that we have a few positions that we will be opening up this summer and in the fall. Now is the perfect time to start shadowing the people who hold these positions this year so you can have a head start and be well on your way to success in the fall. Keep in mind that none of these positions require you to be the lead for the remainder of this school year. This is just an opportunity to work closely with the current chair and learn the ropes.
